PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF BERBASIS STEM TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

It has been conducted a research to determine whether there is an effect of using STEM- based interactive multimedia on the subject of electromagnetic induction to the learning outcomes of studnets of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja. The research method used is a quasi-experimental with one group pre-test post-test design. The population were all students of class XII SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja and the sample were all studnets of class XII Science 4 consisting of 32 people. Data collection techniques used is a multiple choice test comprise of 20 items to see the students’ learning outcomes on the cognitive domain. The results were obtained an average of 27.97 pretest and posttest average of 61.87 with t-test results obtained were 23, 959 and ttabel = 2.042 then |thitung|>ttabel means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the analysis of N-gain, it was obtained N-gain of 0.471 in the medium category. Thus, there is the effect sicnificantly of using STEM-based interactive multimedia in increasing the students’ learning outcomes. The implication of this research is that interactive multimedia can be used by teachers as a tool to improve student learning outcomes.
