Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect size of using modules in physics learning on students' physics learning outcomes based on 1) grade level in high school; 2) learning materials; 3) applied learning and 4) aspects of the knowledge and skills of students. The research method used is a meta-analysis research. The subjects of this study were 20 articles consisting of 14 national articles and 6 international articles published from 2015 to 2020. The results showed that the use of modules in physics learning was effective in improving the learning outcomes of students at the class X and XI high school levels with an effect a very high size, based on the applied learning and learning materials giving a moderate, high and very high effect size, based on the learning outcomes of the aspects of the knowledge and skills of students, giving a very high effect size.
