This research aims to determine the effect of the diameter of a solid cylinder on the output of electrical energy and kinetic energy from a solid cylinder. The method used is repeated research three times in increments of 10 seconds. This is to see the average value of voltage and current produced by the dynamo. In the research, a solid cylinder will be a source of mechanical energy which is then distributed via belting to a generator or dynamo. The solid cylinder will be given variations in diameter of 12cm and 14cm to determine the influence of the mechanical energy of the solid cylinder on the electrical energy output from the dynamo. The results of this research were obtained on a solid cylinder with a diameter of 12 cm, producing an average voltage and current of 0.047V and 0.54A. while a solid cylinder with a diameter of 14cm produces an average voltage and current of 0.095V and 1.28A. The results of this research produce different electrical energy output, this is because the electrical energy output influences the magnitude of the moment of inertia and angular velocity of the kinetic energy of the solid cylinder.
